Day Four: John Moore

John Moore is a South African artist whose passion for wildlife and natural heritage visually fuses themes of spirituality and mysticism. 

Fascinated by the San people and their natural balance with nature, John channels the rhythmic rituals of the ancient San people into his preferred medium, which is Printmaking.  

“I emulate that magic with the repeated process of printing, enhancing my work with my own energy.”

John is actively involved in the South African and international art scene as an artist and educator and houses one of the largest print presses in South Africa, at his Johannesburg studio.
